Biltmore Estate
I think it was about 2 years ago when I visited the Biltmore Estate. I wasn't prepared for how massive the entire estate was. It's so massive that they have different types of tours. I toured the main level and the estate grounds. There's another tour where you can tour the roof top/higher level the house. I really enjoyed that day trip and see why the Biltmore family chose that spot to build their home. I would love to tour The Breakers up in Rhode Island one day soon and capture it in film just like I did the Biltmore. My biggest regret wasn't bringing more Polaroid film. I shot the house, grounds, and estate with both Polaroid and Fujifilm.
The right photo was taken in the back of the house where the pond is. In addition to it being cloudy that day, there was a lot of trees around which is why the photo turned out so dark.
Different angles of one side of the house.
The Biltmore House and front lawn. The right photo is the lawn on the opposite end.
The right photo was taken in the garden house.
Another photo of the greenhouse. Every photo from here on was taken with my Fujifilm.(Top Photo) The Blue Ridge Mountains shot through a window. I believe I was down in the kitchen
(Bottom Photo) Take somewhere on the estate grounds.
Behind the garden house is a big pond. The bridge is at the very back of the property.
Some koi in a smaller pond closer to the house. The bottom photo is a better photo of the house and main lawn.
(Bottom Photo) Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
The area in the top photo was in an inside courtyard area.
These photos were taken inside the garden house. The shot of the lion statue among the flowers and foliage is my favorite.
