Through Her Camera's Len

I've spent the last two, going on three, years living here in Greensboro, NC. Regardless of how some people may feel about the city, my experience here in this city has been pleasant. I moved from Birmingham, AL five years ago and have lived in Durham and Burlington before Greensboro. And to be honest, Greensboro reminds me of Birmingham in a lot of ways so, I kind of found my home away from home. But moving on. I'm hoping next year come August when my lease expires, I'll be on my way to another city, in another state. I'm thinking about Austin, TX (but we'll see where life takes me). During my 3 years here in Greensboro, I've captured much of the city on film, and have compiled my favorite photos down below.                    This next section contains a compilation of murals I've taken around Greensboro.  

  This little hiking adventure took place last month in May. The scenery was beautiful, but my God, was I humbled. One of the trails you can take to reach the waterfall involves taking a long flight of stairs (according to Google it's 580 steps or 30 stories). I'm by no means a novice hiker. I've been hiking for years now, but that hike was the Trail from Hell. I had to stop many times because my HR was dangerously high (didn't help I had an energy drink maybe an hour before I arrived). Even though I wanted to give up and turn back several times, I made it to the waterfall in the end. Would I ever do it again?
