Gatlinburg, Tenneesee
Here are some shots I snapped while up in Gatlinburg (I can't remember when I went up there haha!). I actually went to visit Elkmont. As stated before in previous posts, I have this unusual love for ghost towns, and I love photographing them in Polaroid even more. The old town of Elkmont sits within the Great Smokey Mountains National Park; it's also a campground as well. I'll link the Wikipedia page down below for more information:

Instead of snapping my Polaroids with my iPhone, I used the "Scan Documents" feature through the Notes app. However, I forgot that when you scan multiple documents within a singular note, it creates a PDF. After I e-mailed the PDF file, I used the print screen function on my laptop to separate the photos into pairs. I'm thinking about going this route from here on out. The only problem is that it does take a lot of assembly time.
Stone chimneys from houses/cabins long destroyed. Using a Polaroid in an area with a lot of shade is always a challenge (and pain). I will say, these photos turned out better then I anticipated.
Here are some clearer and brighter shots I took with my iPhone.
I took more shots of the chimneys. I'm really digging the photo on the left (despite its poor quality). It's haunting in a neat way.
The photo on the left is of the Kuwohi Observation Tower. Since 1859, it was known as Clingman's Dome. It's original name has since been restored (I believe this happened between 2022 - 2024). Kuwohi is Cherokee for "Mulberry Place." Fun Fact: Kuwohi is the highest mountain in the GSM.
The photo on the right is a shot of the Smokey Mountains from one of the many places around the park you can stop and view.
The photo on the left was taken from the summit of Kuwohi before I hiked up to the observation tower. The photo on the right was taken from a spot on the ramp up to the tower.
