San Fransisco

Some images from my April 2024 vacation in San Fransisco. That was my very first time out west. These photos were shot using my Polaroid 600. It was almost my first time using a Polaroid camera so these pictures aren't the very best. If you look at these photos and the ones from my other posts, you can see a vast improvement. Analog cameras are always a challenge at times. These photos were uploaded using the "Scan" features in iPhone's notes. The real photos aren't this overexposed.

(Left photo) I took this photo of the cityscape from the Alcatraz boat while we were boarding.
(Middle Photo) I took this when I reached Alcatraz Island.
(Right Photo) A plaza in the Fisherman's Warf area. I took these on the stairs headed up to Coit Tower.

Here's the actual Polaroid of the plaza. The scan feature doesn't do the real photos any justice.

My hotel was right beside Chinatown. The left photo was taken from the window on my hotel floor.

The Palace of Fine Arts. This was a really neat place. I walked all the way here after my Alcatraz tour.

This photo of the Palace Rotunda is my favorite shot.

  San Fransisco Japanese Tea Garden.

Castello di Amorosa winery. This place is located in Calistoga. It took me about an hour to get there via Lyft. I was only able to take so many pictures because my camera started having issues. Realized it was because I didn't have the film cartridge inserted all the way.

Winchester Mystery House in San Jose.

The Hakone Estate & Gardens in Saratoga. I was disappointed in how these photos turned out because the place was beautiful. Some areas of the gardens were dominated by trees. I tried adjusting my camera as best I could. Like I said earlier, it was my first time shooting with a Polaroid.

Of all the photos I took on my trip to San Fransisco, the left photo is in the top 5. There's some so whimsical about it.
