Sarah P. Duke Gardens
I had some left over Polaroid that needed to be used before it expired. Polaroid film is extremely expensive because there's only Polaroid factory left in the entire world and the chemicals and materials used to make the film are also expensive. Eight exposures cost $19.99 (*internal screams*).
When I first moved to NC back in 2021, I lived in Durham for the first year. My apartment was in walking distance of Duke University. I used to walk around campus a lot for exercise. Now that I live in Greensboro, I rarely go back to Durham
The left photo was taken from the Duke Chapel courtyard. The middle photo was taken from the roundabout. It's a little difficult to see due to the distance and how bright the sun was that day. I took these photos with my Polaroid 600, which is an older camera. Adjusting the brightness is always a challenge. Taking photos from a distance is also a challenge as well. The right photo was taken at a closer distance compared to the middle shot.
(Left photo) Adjacent to the campus is the Sarah P Duke Gardens. Sarah was the widow of one of Duke's founders, Benjamin N. Duke. This shot was taken near one of the various entrances.
(Middle photo) The Terrace Gardens and Cindy Brodhead Pergola (in the way distance).
(Right Photo) A Tetsu Bachi.

(above) Roney Fountain in the Mary Duke Biddle Rose Garden. This area of the gardens is my favorite location.

The Meyer Bridge in the Culberson Asiatic Arboretum. It would have been an immaculate shot if it weren't for the four light streaks in the photo.
One of the entrances into the Arboretum. In the distance is the tea house.

The lilies taken with my iPhone. The deep red lilies are my favorite. Fun fact: Daylilies are not real lilies. They belong to a different genus.
